On 1 January 2009 Jean Marc Leroy was appointed CEO of Storengy, a company of GDF SUEZ, dedicated to underground storage of natural gas.
Mr Jean-Marc Leroy has been in charge of storage infrastructures and LNG terminals of GDF SUEZ since 2005. From 1997 to 2004, he has been active at Gaz de France head office in several key positions : Manager of the President’s Office, secretary of the Board, Deputy Vice president of the Strategy Division, Vice President in charge of External Relations and Internal Communication.
An engineer by training, Mr. Jean-Marc Leroy started his career in Electricité de France (EDF) and moved to Gaz de France in 1994.
President of GSE – Gas Storage Europe, from 2008 to 2013, representing gas storage operators in Europe towards the European Institutions, Jean-Marc was elected Vice President of GSE in 2013. He is also Vice President of GIE – Gas Infrastructure Europe.
Mr. Jean-Marc Leroy is the Chairman of the supervisory board of ENSEEIHT, a French engineering school of Toulouse’s University, specialized in Energy, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulics and IT.
